Dear audience,
It fills me with emotion to be able to welcome you to this, our First International Chamber Music Festival of Concepción, which was born from the desire to open ourselves to new musical possibilities that come out of the current trend, a celebration of art and culture that presents us with the possibility of sharing more intimately with audiences and creating bonds that remain between cultural entities, artists, audiences and people. The friendship and the desire to share a stage again with the people with whom we grew up personally and professionally, has provoked a special motivation and desire in each of us who are looking forward to being in Concepción soon.
This first edition of Dimensions refers to the fact that we will explore the different latitudes of chamber music and we will encounter a great variety of ensembles, periods, styles and origins that we hope will show the public the vast versatility and sonic possibilities offered by the diverse dimensions of this genre. In addition, within the programme, which has been designed to relate to each other and in this way also relate the audience directly to the music, we will find several works to be premiered in Chile and we will also have the honour of performing the world premiere of a work for Trio by the Chilean composer Rodrigo Herrera, all wonderful music that we hope will continue to be heard in the concert halls of our country.
I welcome you to be part of this Festival, which together with an incredible team we have prepared with a lot of enthusiasm for you and for which every artist is eager to take the stage.
